I am so excited to be starting off this school year. Our teachers and staff have worked hard to make sure your child is reaching their academic and social potential.

As Parent you play a very important part of your children's education.

A few reminders:

• School starts at 7:45 and ends at 3:10. It is important that your children arrive on time.
• Make sure they get a good night sleep, children between 6-12 years of age should get at 9-12 hours of sleep.
• Make sure they come to school each day. Chronic absences affects students academic progress and puts them behind their classmates.
• Get involved in your school: Come to back to school nights, attend teacher conferences, join the PTA, volunteer for field trips, take parent classes that are offered.

This year we will allow parents to come to have lunch with their students on the following schedule. We will make no exceptions, all parents need to report to the office before entering the cafeteria.

Tuesdays - Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, 2nd,
Thursday- 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th

We have themed this year "Go for the Gold" I know that our students can reach their highest potential. Let's have the best 2023-2024 school year!

Estoy muy contenta de comenzar este año escolar. Nuestros maestros y personal han trabajado arduamente para asegurarse de que su hijo esté alcanzando su potencial académico y social.

Como padre, usted juega un papel muy importante en la educación de sus hijos.

Algunos recordatorios:

La escuela comienza a las 7:45 y termina a las 3:10. Es importante que sus hijos lleguen a tiempo.

Asegúrese de que duerman bien por la noche, los niños entre 6 y 12 años deben dormir entre 9 y 12 horas.

Asegúrese de que vengan a la escuela todos los días. Las ausencias crónicas afectan el progreso académico de los estudiantes y los pone detrás de sus compañeros de clase.

Participe en su escuela: venga a las noches de regreso a la escuela, asista a las conferencias de maestros, únase a la PTA, sea voluntario en las excursiones, tome las clases para padres que se ofrecen.

Este año permitiremos que los padres vengan a almorzar con sus hijos en el siguiente horario. No haremos excepciones, todos los padres deben presentarse en la oficina antes de ingresar a la cafetería.
