The CLI mission is to ensure that every child benefits from the arts and creative learning. The Creative Learning Initiative is an investment in the future of Austin. By experiencing creative learning and the arts both in and out of school, Austin ISD students are better prepared for school and life.

CLI is a technique that teachers use to increase the rigor of instruction in all subject areas by using specific techniques from drama, visual arts, music, movement, and digital media.
